Seaplane Transfer
Fly directly over the turquoise waters of the Maldives: our seaplane transfer whisks you from Velana International Airport (Malé) to Joy Island in just 10 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of atolls and coral reefs. Operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA), the round-trip transfer is available daily during daylight hours. Fares are USD 300 per adult and USD 190 per child (ages 2–15), while infants under 2 fly free. The service includes 20 kg checked luggage plus 5 kg carry-on; extra baggage incurs USD 5/kg. If you arrive in Malé after 15:30 it’s advisable to book a speedboat transfer instead. Departure flights from Joy Island run between 06:00 and 16:00. Guests enjoy complimentary access to the arrival airport lounge, with departure lounge available for a fee (USD 35 for adults, USD 20 for children). Please book at least 7 days in advance to secure your seaplane transfer—and start your Maldives holiday from the sky.
